The Executive Director, Service Management’s primary role is to transform the WB Games technology operations model into a mature IT Service Management model that is rooted from best practices and recognised as a Centre of Excellence.  This individual will manage teams to plan, coordinate and direct, as well as design the creation of data driven decision making tools that allow the organisation to be more efficient at delivering solutions while effectively supporting the business in a rapidly growing & changing technology environment. 

This person will also oversee the teams defining and implementing IT operations and support policies, procedures, and best practices.  They will evaluate cost effectiveness and performance of vendors and ensure high level of innovation needed to support our cutting-edge technological ecosystem.  The professional that fills this role will also develop and support the creation of a global Network Operations Centre with instrumented reporting and alerting in place thus enabling our Operations organisation to make informed management decisions.

This position will be responsible for assisting the VP, IT to develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap and strategic plan to establish and maintain an IT infrastructure that can support studio needs and WB Games’ aggressive growth and expansion plans, while operating at a high level of efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

Production & Corporate IT Service Management Team Oversight

  • Unify incident, problem, change, release, capacity, and service level management processes, tools and routine reporting across all Production and Corporate IT teams globally.
  • Increase the speed and reliability of change within the WB Games whilst ensuring incidents caused by change are minimised by continuously evaluating potential risk and historical success. Put in place tools and processes to effectively communicate and manage change globally.
  • Ensure accurate fault data is captured within the service support processes globally in order to carry out in-depth trend analysis on the performance of WB Games Technology services, technology, and teams. This will allow WB Games to make data driven decisions in order determine areas of improvement within technology and process on a centralised / global scale.
  • Implement IT process management and governance across all IT support teams throughout WBIE.
  • Identify globally, areas for unification of IT support tools.
  • Consolidated Service Management and Performance Reporting globally.

Key Vendor Contract and Relationship Management Team Oversight

  • Using direct report(s) within a Vendor Management role, manage the top vendors for WB Games Technology services (Corporate and Production IT) in order to assure cost effectiveness and high-performance from our vendor services.
  • Liaise with procurement and finance teams during contract renewals, RFPs, and renegotiations.
  • Routinely review all vendors to identify areas for consolidation and innovation within WB Games Technology services.
  • Manage the performance of vendors using routine service and performance review meetings.
  • Manage the Project Portfolio and Project management resources.

Global Network Operations Centre Team Oversight

  • Lead the scoping, mandate, design, build and rollout of a new Global Network Operations Centre.
  • Consult with all internal senior technology and operations stakeholders globally to collate requirements from each region on a NOC support model. Include these requirements into the above NOC scope and design.
  • Report weekly and monthly on NOC/Service Availability performance to all relevant business units globally.

IT Director

In-Game Animator

Lead Character Rigger

We are seeking to recruit a Lead Character Rigger to join the In-Game Animation team based at our studio in Wilmslow.

Junior & Mid-Level Game Programmers

TT Games Studios are seeking to recruit a number of Junior to Mid-Level Game Programmers based in Knutsford and Wilmslow.  Recent graduates will also be considered.

The Gameplay Team work alongside designers, gameplay artists, final artists, animators, VFX artists, and SFX artists to implement the level and hub designs on the license based LEGO games.  Upon joining, you will be assigned to a senior programmer on a team who will act as a mentor, guiding you through our code base and getting you up to speed as quickly as possible.  The project you will be on will be an unannounced major IP based LEGO game built on a new engine currently in development.  This gives you the chance to be involved in the new engine from day one, influencing its design and implementation.  On a daily basis, you may be expected to:

  • Work with animators, artists and designers to implement a level design.
  • Provide creative input from a technical perspective in to the level design.
  • Using Utility AI, implement friendly party AI.
  • Using Utility AI, Implement enemy AI.
  • Using Utility AI, Implement Boss AI.
  • Implement bespoke Lego.
  • Write reusable systems to help implement the above.
  • Construct the streaming framework for the open world hubs.

  • Create bespoke mini-games.

The tools you forge will be used for building content for AAA games on all current platforms (including mobile and console) across the studios within the Tt group.

Main Responsibilities:
